Our trip to Lillyland and a sneak peek of Spring 2011

We are simply beaming after returning from West Palm Beach (the land of all things Lilly) this week. The Spring 2011 collection looks AMAZING. I know we say this every time, but this is definitely the best collection ever. It seriously keeps getting better and better.

During our trip, we had a long day of viewing the Spring collection and writing orders. We keep all of our sweet customers in mind and this time we made sure to stock up on requested sizes and even ordered MORE and MORE just to ensure we would always have enough! To break up our long day, Lilly Pulitzer herself surprised us and came to have lunch with us. We had the privilege to meet Lilly before in December and it was a treat to have lunch with her again. She laughed and carried on with us as if she'd known us her entire life. It was so neat to hear her fun stories and how it all began. She even mentioned spending time in Aiken, SC during her childhood and she knew exactly where Greenwood, SC was, so we like to believe Lilly has a little "Carolina Girl" in her =)

The inspiration behind Lilly's Spring 2011 collection is The Fine Arts with a focus on Impressionism. For instance, this gorgeous print here... Obsessed.

One shoulder style will continue to be a strong style in Spring

Well since it's still 90 degrees around here (especially at a 12 noon football game on Saturday!) we decided we would get in a few more one shoulder dresses that everyone just LOVES! They are great to wear Spring, Summer, and even early Fall. We even like them with a fun pair of cowboy boots.
