Christmas is over and now it's time to ring in the new year. Who's excited about 2013? I know we are!

Just wanted to extend a huge CONGRATULATIONS to the new Mr. and Mrs. Mack Seal Hite!

As most of you know, my sister Courtney has helped me so much here at Sugar from day one. She was there in the very beginning to get this store going and even though she is a full time community liason for Ark Hospice, she continues to help us on Saturdays and pop in to model for photoshoots. 

Whenever we need her, she's always there and we are blessed to have her. 

Courtney and Mack wed on Saturday, December 15th at First Baptist Church of Iva and their reception was held at Cateechee Golf Club & Resort in Hartwell, GA.

For the rehearsal dinner the bride wore Britt Ryan's opal shift and coat, available at Sugar.

Bridesmaids wore an elegant majestic purple dress by Alfred Sung and the honorary bridesmaids wore the gold Eleanor Wrap dress by LaRoque, also available at Sugar. Shoes were from Blossom Shoes & Such here in Greenwood.

Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Hite. On behalf of the Sugar girls, we wish you a lifetime full of sweet happiness!

Also I wanted to post a photo of our "sweet Sugar staff" at our recent Christmas dinner at Pascals here in Greenwood. We laughed because out of the six of us, there's four engaged and one expecting a precious baby boy in the Spring! Congrats to Allison (our lovely Sugar model and helper on Saturdays when she's not busy being a full time teacher. Far left) and her husband Jason. We are so excited to welcome another baby boy into our Sugar fam.

Also congrats to Brittany (our store manager. to my left in the picture) on her recent engagement. She will wed in May. Then there's my sister Courtney who recently wed then Ellie, who will wed in April and Hannah (far right) who will wed next December! Even though Court, Ellie and Hannah help us out on Saturdays, we appreciate their sweet service. As for Brittany, my store manager, I absolutely do not know what I would do without her! These girls are the best!

Yes, Brittany, Courtney and I all have on our Citizens of Humanity Avedon Ultra Skinnies in Axel. THE BEST skinnies ever! Seriously, if you haven't tried these come on in the store and slip on a pair. They are unbelievably stretchy and feel like you are wearing leggings!

2013 is sure to be a fun year for the girls at Sugar, full of celebrations especially as we will celebrate FIVE SWEET YEARS at Sugar in April. It's going to be the BEST year yet and always, we want to thank you for shopping with us and your continued support.

an update.

Just wanted to give everyone an update on the black and white chevron novelty top {and dress} that was re-ordered a few weeks ago. They gave us estimated ship date of 12/10. As of today, which is the 18th, they have not shipped. We have contacted them and they are waiting for the goods to arrive at their warehouse. This is out of our control and we apologize that we can't "work magic" and make this happen sooner because if we could, trust me we would! It is our mission to bring you the best styles here at Sugar and being that this was one of our best sellers, we desperately wanted to re-order and have them for those who wanted them yet didn't get one during the first order.

We appreciate your patience and assure you that we will call/email those who signed up to be alerted first as soon as they arrive, as well as post a Facebook status/blog post.

It's time to THINK PINK!

It's no secret that the girls at Sugar absolutely LOVE pink. One step into the door and you'll notice shimmering pink walls adorned with racks and racks of gorgeous clothing!

This month we're dressing our windows in PINK for another reason. October is breast cancer awareness month and ladies it's time to THINK PINK!
