Fall trends...

Here's a look at what's going to be HOT for Fall 2009!

  • FLORALS - We're still loving floral prints for Fall 09 - just look for more rich jeweled toned colors such as purples, emerald, jade, oranges, etc... with a very "art-deco" look. This cute Karlie dolman sleeved tunic will arrive next week and is the perfect lightweight fabric to transition into cooler weather.
  • JUMPSUITS/ROMPERS - This is one of the HOTTEST fashion-forward trends of the season {and you may be thinking "probably one I'll skip..."}. But we are here to tell you - you CAN pull it off, even right here in Greenwood,SC. For instance, check out this Karlie floral shorts romper coming in next week. It's the perfect piece to "ease you into the jumpsuit/romper" trend for many reasons. First, the Fall colors are perfect for this time of year, while the style is suitable for the "sometimes 90 degree Septembers" we have around here. This would look cute with wedges or black heels. Such a fun, unique look that's easier than ever to pull off. Later in the Fall, we'll get in a classic jumpsuit style in a hot pink satin with Grecian-inspired spaghetti straps that would look fabulous at any holiday/cocktail event!
  • DETAILS - Pay attention to details this Fall. Zippers, draping, beading, pleating, feathers, and LOTS of ruffles. You may also see 1920s fringe and don't forget to add a belt! You can't go wrong with over the top rocker studs and even a little bling bling like on this fabulous pair of Miss Me jeans - available now for less than $100...use these details to jazz up your Fall wardrobe!

  • ANIMAL PRINTS - are still spot on - new versions have ruffles, tucks and pleats making tops and jackets look fresh! We love these by Ann Trinity & Windridge. They instantly make you look super trendy, while giving you easy classic styles that are easy to wear. {Leopard Print Shrug by Windridge}

  • JACKETS - these were strong last Fall and through Spring 09. We just can't get enough of them. In hard economic times, a jacket is a great piece to buy so you can pair it with top & pants you already have, while creating a totally new look. With all the fun prints/textures - jackets keep your wardrobe hip & fun without breaking your budget

  • JEWEL TONES & NEON - Look for richly hued colors, jewel tones and wearable colors you'll love such as navy, fuschia, and chocolates. You'll see lots of shades of purple, orange {lucky for you Clemson fans}, lime green, rich reds, navy, and grey. You might even see pops of NEON {as in the 80s neon} colors to brighten up your early Fall wardrobe...like this Karlie top for $62.

  • PLAID - if you are a fan of all things plaid, then THIS is your season. It's definitely going to be a plaid year - all sizes, all colors and variations.
